I have always wanted to find a pot of gold. So far, I haven't even come close to finding one. The problem is, I just don't know where to start looking. Maybe one day I will find a pot of gold.
When I do find a pot of gold, I will make sure my family is well taken care of before buying anything for myself. It would make me very happy if I knew my family were happy with no worries.

Mice Killer
Mice are little rodents that like to inhabit our houses, especially in the fall, when the weather starts to change. They also seem to inhabit our houses in the spring, when the females are having babies.Mice will chew on things, such as wood and wires. They can be pests.
A mice killer would be cats and mouse traps. Poison would be another method of mice killer. However, I am not sure that any three of those is the best solution if you find you have a mouse problem. Some cats are very unpredicatable as a mice killerbecause some cats will play with mice and end up killing them by accident. I have never been a fan of mousetraps. I just don't think they are all that humane. I have also never been a fan of poison. I think poisoning anything is just cruel.

Desert Activities for Kids
Believe it or not, even in a desert, there are activities for kids. There is hiking and horseback riding as well as camping too. I live in a semi desert area of Canada. We do get four seasons, just like anywhere else. The summers are very hot but dry. The winters do get very cold but it is a dry cold. In the winter, there is snowmobiling and lots of cross country skiing here.
Just like anywhere in Canada there is a certain beauty, even in the desert. It is definitely a place worth visiting and to me, it is a place I call home.

Blogging Dangers
There can be dangers in blogging, just like any activity that you do on the internet. I learned the hard way that you have to be very careful with what information you share on your blog. I made a mistake and that mistake almost cost me my writing career. However, that was a few years back now and I have put that incident behind me.
When blogging, it is best not to mention every aspect of your life or others in your life. It is best to use anonomity on the internet. It is better to be safe than sorry.
The internet can be a very unsafe place. I said to use anonomity when blogging but then, on the other hand, you should remember that the person on the other end of the internet could be using anonomity as well. My advice to everyone is play safe.

Am I Allergic to Mosquito Bites
Am I allergic to mosquito bites? No, I am not allergic to mosquito bites. Mosquitoes are pesky little insects. The worst thing about them is that they suck your blood. With all the fear of human diseases with blood these days, I really get quite anxious when I see a mosquito come anywhere near me. I try to wear a long sleeve shirt in the summer but I do live in a semi desert area and the temperatures have been known to soar to over 40 degrees Celsius.
This summer, we haven't had near the hot weather we should and we have had a ton of rain. The rain for this year, in the area I live in, has surpassed all records since weather records have been kept. It is very uncommon for rain to fall like it has here this year. Now, that being said, there are probably going to be a lot of mosquitoes this year because of pools of water caused by the rain. So far, I haven't noticed an over abundance of them and I do hope it stays that way.
I can remember the worst infestation of mosquitoes that I have ever encountered and that was while I was traveling through Northern Ontario. We stopped at a roadside park and were trying to cook some dinner on a propane stove and the mosquitoes just swarmed us. It was so bad that there ended up being mosquitoes in the food. We ended up having to throw that food away. There was no way I was going to eat food that I knew that there was mosquitoes in it. Ewww!!!! That would have been just so gross. I understand that over the years I have probably swallowed hundreds of mosquitoes but those mosquitoes I didn't know about or by the time I realized what I was swallowing, it was too late, I had already swallowed them. However, to willingly swallow a mosquito, no, that will never, ever happen, even though the meal we had to throw away was really good hamburgers and our mouths were watering by the smell of them cooking. We were so hungry too because we had been on the road traveling from about three o'clock in the morning until around six o'clock that evening.
Living in remote regions of Canada, I have definitely had my share of mosquitoes over the years. Mosquitoes are not a very proud part of being a Canadian but we do deal with it the best way we can.
